The mission of the Antiochian Village is to present to young people a living experience of the Holy
Orthodox Faith, in their relationship with God and other campers in an uncluttered, natural
environment. We accomplish this mission by bringing young people to:
• Awareness of self and fellow man
• A broadening of their Orthodox life
• A greater awareness of their religion
• Good sportsmanship
• Growth in personal relationships and personal responsibility
• An appreciation of nature and a concern for the environment

Join us for a fun night out at the Palace to watch the Detroit Pistons vs the Toronto Raptors on Sun, April 22 at 6PM. There will be a LIVE performance by MC Hammer himself! You can choose to be in the upper-level group or the lower-level group. You must register and payment must be made by April 1st. No exceptions.

The basketball clinic will focus on basketball fundamentals that includes dribbling, passing, shooting,
offense and defense. Speed and agility drills will also be implemented in order to improve each athlete’s
coordination, quickness, explosiveness and overall fitness. Contests and games will be played daily.
The mission of H.Y.P.E. Athletics Community is to create and strengthen infrastructures that
support the positive development of Wayne County youth through athletic participation and
competition, educational tutoring and literacy development, and social awareness with mentoring,
counseling, life skills training and substance abuse education and prevention.

The Diocese of Toledo Fellowship of St. John the Divine invites all young adults (ages 18-40) to our spring Young Adult Retreat hosted at St. Mary Basilica in Livonia, MI, the weekend of March 30-April 1, 2012. His Grace Bishop Anthony will be our guest speaker for the weekend leading us in workshops about our faith, along with church services, good food, activities and fellowship time together to enjoy each others company. We invite all young adults (married or single) from our diocese and beyond to join us for this retreat. It is going to be a fun and spiritually fulfilling retreat in which we hope all young adults from our diocese will participate.
The retreat will take place at St. Mary Basilica in (18100 Merriman Road, Livonia, MI). Out of town guests may book lodging at the Detroit Marriott Livonia (17100 Laurel Park Drive North, Livonia, MI) where a block of rooms is reserved under the group code: FSJFSJD at a special rate of $96 per night.
The weekend will begin at 7pm on Friday March 30 with the Akatahist/Madeyeh service at St. Mary’s, and conclude with a light luncheon after Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Sunday April 1.
